If you’re among the growing number of women worldwide, who are choosing to remain childfree, you have likely been asked: “What’s wrong with you?” and felt forced to explain why you don’t want kids. Tanya Williams, author of A Childfree Happily Ever After: Why more women are choosing not to have children, explains that ever since she was in her early 20s, she was judged about her decision and told that she will regret not having children. Today, at 47-years-old, and a successful career woman, she has no regrets. And she owes no one an explanation! She wrote her book, in part, to help younger women deal with societal pressures of “having to have children” if they know motherhood is just not for them! In today’s video, Tanya talks about her experience and offers helpful tips for women (and men) struggling with the decision of having children, or not.
