As Darius Ruker’s lyrics question: “When is the last time you did something for the first time? Yeah, let your yourself go, follow that feeling, maybe something new is what you’re needing.” Absolutely! As we age, doing new things is essential for mental and physical health, and can bring new joy and enthusiasm into our life. In fact, as we feel our relevancy change as we age, we can gain new freedom to do what we want, take risks, and live in a way that feels true and authentic. In other words, we can stop caring so much about what others think and do what we’ve always wanted to do! What have you always wanted to do? Leave us your comments and tell us about your new experiences and how that made you feel. Did you break out of a rut? We’re looking for inspiring stories to share!
