Losing a spouse is rated as one of the most stressful life events one can ever endure. You can barely function and are overwhelmed with grief. The thought of ever starting over again seems inconceivable, let alone getting back to dating and finding love again. Well meaning friends and family don’t know what to say or do, and often make you feel even worse. Speaking from a professional and personal perspective, Marriage and Family Therapist Jeanne Nelson shares her story of suddenly losing her husband of 27-years, getting through the initial shock, pain and grief; dealing with pressure from family and friends; and finally getting back to dating and finding love again. This is my first of three interviews with Jeanne.

Jeanne Nelson has been a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 35-years, and now enjoys retired life with husband Joel. For more information and more videos with Jeanne, click here: https://2ndact.tv/expert/jeanne-nelson-lmft/
