Thank you both for another great episode! as someone who struggles with even wanting to date, I appreciate the reminder to approach it with curiosity!

Thank you so much for this segment because I needed to understand men better! I’m going to have to listen again and take notes and I’ve already sent this to my married sisters and friends! Such valuable content to me as I’m starting to hopefully find another partner after losing my husband! I’m not a great communicator and I want and need to be moving forward! I can’t thank you enough Silke and Bob for this content! 🥰 I’m always learning from you! 🎉

Thank you SO much for this topic. I listen to you all the time and have gained so much insight in “cleaning up and accepting who I am”. Though this session was an “in my face” for me. Had to listen to it three times (so far). You see today, a guy I knew (acquaintance) from years ago, appeared in my life out of the blue. Long story short, he is 10 years younger than me and he finds me very attractive (many tell me I look much younger than my age). So, we will see how this goes. 😜

I approach the dating site with a healthy perspective / mindset … of what I bring to the table, what I am wanting in a life partner, and fully understanding what these sites provide and what they cannot. This makes the whole experience non stressful.
It’s a different paradigm to meet folks than meeting organically while out and about.
Many of my friends found their person thru various dating platforms.
Meeting someone who is aligned with me will happen. Patience… ❤
Thank you ladies for another valuable discussion!! 🥰

Silke. I watch a lot of you tube. Found your channel. Probably saw 20 videos so far
I hate long videos but given the content of yours I wish they were longer!!! Both men and women NEED this guidance (I am male and 60)
Thank you

What I appreciate about this channel is that you do a good job of presenting both men and women's perspectives without being demeaning. Keep up the good work 😊

I'm glad that more people are learning about boundaries and what that means. The word itself never has to be stated. Everyone has some kind of boundaries whether they state them or not. I might never say, "If you hit me, I will leave and not come back," but that is a boundary for me. Another one for me is "If you start yelling at me and calling me names during a discussion, the discussion is over until you can calm down and talk politely." Boundaries are important.
By the way, I love this channel and I have learned a lot. Please keep it rolling!! ❤

Thank you so very much! That point you made where they mention ‘find someone that likes you more’. This is from John Gray. I see him interviewed all over the internet. So I tried this - for a few years. But even after 5 dates….. I never felt my romantic feelings ‘kick in’. I’ve dated a LOT - I’m very active IRL and online. I try ‘age appropriate’ men I can introduce to my social group, however, I just can’t feel that spark. Eventually they kind of notice too.
So I’ve broken that belief and gone for the actual men I find attractive. I’m letting my body and heart lead the way. It’s super fun! At 61 I’ve already had all the marriage experience, and parenting experience. So now it’s about healthy mind, body and spirit. The younger men full of gratitude and loaded up with testosterone really do seem the right fit for my stage in life. We share our different perceptions on life and we both get so much out of it.
The older men seem to be terrified of gold diggers or cheaters. So I’m done having to ‘prove my value’ before we even get past the first few dates.
Can you do a segment on older women and younger men? I really think it’s something worth addressing.
I feel I’m no longer looking for an older man that needs nursing and ego stroking. Life is too short. If I was still married to my husband of 20 years then this makes sense. Growing old together.
But already old when we meet, seems really challenging to feel sexually attracted to them. Trust me I’ve tried!!!
I love your channel. Please address this issue. I know many women over 50 that have this sexual desire issue too.
Grateful for all your episodes!
