By the time we reach 50, how much junk have we kept inside that we haven’t shared emotionally? The men of our generation, in particular, have suppressed emotional impulses for decades for fear of showing weakness. As a result, bottled up emotions play havoc on our relationships, health and overall wellbeing, especially as we age. And at some point, suppressed emotions will manifest as health and relationship issues. But, is it realistic for someone who has always bottled up their feelings to finally get in touch with and express emotions later in life? Simply said, it’s a choice.
