Todd I. Youngdahl, CFP®, joined Washington Wealth Advisors in 2012 as a managing partner. Todd has over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as an independent Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial before leaving the firm to join Washington Wealth Advisors.

As a Managing Partner, Todd is responsible for business development and leads the firm’s research initiatives, bringing the highest caliber of independent research to client portfolios. Todd specializes in providing holistic financial planning and strategic investment management to his clients, aligning their investment portfolios with their critical financial goals to include planning for retirement, education and protecting clients and assets from unforeseen life events.

Ongoing client service and contact is of the utmost importance to Todd and he is backed by a Client Service Management team to ensure the highest level of service is being provided to his clients.

Todd earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional designation in 2006. To earn this designation, he was required to complete approved educational programs, pass rigorous examinations and meet stringent experience requirements. He adheres to a professional code of ethics and fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.

Todd graduated from West Virginia University in 1998. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Communications.

In addition to his work at Washington Wealth Advisors, Todd is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is also committed to helping raise funds for two charities close to his heart, Curesearch for Childrens Cancer and the American Diabetes Association. He and his wife, Lorin, live in Arlington, VA and have four children. In addition to spending time and traveling with his family, Todd enjoys tennis, swimming, and cheering on his favorite football teams.
